Sometimes the content you get back from us requires some fine-tuning. This is why we offer free unlimited revisions at Draft to have those minute changes made. 

2. Click into the relevant content piece you'd like a revision made on.

3. At the bottom of the content piece you'll see a

How do I request a revision?

Did you get a piece of content back that you weren't happy with? 

Not to worry - we offer free rewrites to help ensure that you get the perfect piece of content. This means that no additional words will be deducted for rewrite requests. 

Here's how to submit your piece for a rewrite and how you can help ensure the next writer gets the piece just right!

Under Your content, you'll see the option to 

. To prompt a rewrite request, please rate the piece with either a 1 or 2-star. 

From there, you'll see the option to select 

you'll be prompted to provide comments on what was wrong with the initial piece and what you would like to see in the new piece. Select the bubbles that apply and provide polite and constructive feedback for the new writer. 

After adding your feedback you'll be able to select 

. As a reminder, this piece will go to an entirely new writer. The new writer will be able to view the original brief, any revision comments if provided the first time around, and the content the previous writer created.

The new piece will then follow the same workflow as the initial piece - moving from New to In Progress when the piece has been accepted by a writer.
REMINDER: You can request as many rewrites as needed and rewrite requests can be made to a piece even after revisions have been requested. You would follow the same steps that have been outlined above.

How do I request a rewrite?

We all know that content is an iterative process. Once you've tested out those first few pieces and found a writer (or multiple) that you love, you have the ability to set them as your preferred writer.

What does it mean to have a preferred writer?

Having preferred writers allows you to request content from the same set of writers, establishing a consistent tone of voice, style, and quality in the content pieces produced.

Once they've been added, you'll see when a preferred writer has taken on a piece of content.  

Can I have more than one Preferred Writer?

Yes, absolutely! Just follow the same process as above and add as many preferred writers as you'd like.

Can I request one specific Preferred Writer to write a particular content piece?

Although we can't guarantee this, you can certainly take some steps to optimize for this on your end. 

Reach out to the writer via the chat function if they are working on another job currently, and kindly let them know that you are a fan of their work and would love for them to claim a new request

Include in the description of the request, the name of the writer you are wanting to claim the job

What happens if the Preferred Writer(s) don't claim the jobs?

Once you submit the content request, your preferred team of writers have 24 hours to claim the job. If for any reason, they aren't able to, it will be claimed by another writer from our marketplace. 

To remove a preferred writer from your team you can click on the heart icon again - when the heart goes from red to grey you'll know that you've removed them. 

This can be done from within a job page or from your Preferred Writer page that can be found under My Account > Preferred Writers. 

How can I see what content my preferred writer has written for me?

Within your dashboard, click on My Account > Preferred writers. From there you'll see all your preferred writers and their three most recent pieces of content that they've done for you. 

 If you are on our agency dashboard a preferred writer only gets added to the team of that specific subclient. This feature allows you to customize your preferred writer teams based on the individual needs of each client.

Preferred writers and why you need them

It's very important to rate your content!

 Why? It helps us quality control our marketplace. Writers with an average rating below 4 stars are offboarded from our platform, so make sure you have your feedback heard!

5 Stars = overall great, followed brief, ready to publish

4 Stars = overall good, mostly followed brief, needs light edits (<30m) to publish

3 Stars = okay, missed some instructions, needs edits (>30m) to publish

2 Stars = poor, did not follow most of brief, needs heavy edits (>1hr) to publish

1 Star = terrible, completely missed the mark, requires full rewrite

If you rated an article 5 stars and want to work with this writer again, click the heart next to the writer's name - this will add them to your preferred writer team!
