Personalize your notifications when new work comes in. You can turn new work and preferred work notifications on or off to your preferences.

To receive an email when new work is available, 

You can adjust the frequency of how often you'd like to be notified by viewing the drop-down options. You'll be notified of available new work via email based on the frequency you choose.

To receive an email when preferred work is available, 

You'll be notified through email every time new preferred work is available to claim on your dashboard

To receive an email when payment has been processed, turn on

If you'd like to delete your account, please email 

. Note that after your account's deleted, you'll be unable to access previous invoices or view jobs that you completed.

How to fill out your Writer Profile under 

Your first name and only the first letter of your last name will be shown to customers. Your last name will never be displayed to customers.

Your name must match your bank account on file.

section is a great opportunity to share your background and a summary of your writing expertise. This section is shown to customers when you claim their jobs and can provide them with deeper learnings of who you are, your writing strengths, and your accomplishments.

Input your city and country of residency. 

Select your preferred (and/or native) English dialect(s) and other languages you may be fluent in writing. This will influence the jobs shown to you featuring different dialects and be useful for future services on our platform.

Select your preferred content types. For example, those you've created most often or those you feel most comfortable creating. This will not limit your capability to work on other content types in the marketplace. 

Select up to 5 of your preferred areas of expertise. For example, the ones you're most knowledgeable about or have the most experience in. This will not limit your capability to work on other topics in the marketplace.

Writer Profile

Going on vacation to relax and recharge? Update your status to Away mode under your Profile settings. Preferred jobs will be sent to the Marketplace and new jobs will not appear in the new tab, letting you step away from work and email notifications completely!

Please note that this will not negatively affect your relationship with customers as they are fully aware that it is not a guarantee that a preferred writer will take on their work 100% of the time.

You can change this setting at any time. It is best practice to notify any preferred clients ahead of time through the chat feature in any current jobs of the dates you will be away.

How to set your account to Away Mode

In some cases, your account may be flagged for:

Going overdue on deadlines multiple times

Delivering work that consistently needs revisions or rewrites

Reassigning work 12 hours or less before it's due

Quality problems (grammatical/spelling errors, not adhering to the brief)

In these cases, our app puts your account on probation, and you are notified of the specific reasons for it by our Writer Success Team. 

What happens when my account is restricted?

The app limits the amount of new work you can see so our team can reassess your work and get in touch with you for feedback.

Some of the frequent problems we see are: time management and claiming too many jobs. We can offer advice specific to your situation to help you move forward. 

Don't claim more work than you believe you can handle

Please review content briefs in depth before claiming work

If you need deadline adjustments, request them at least 24 hours before the job is due so our team has the time to make these adjustments

Use tools like Trello and planners to create your schedule

If you believe you'll go overdue on content, please communicate with us so we can take note of it and notifying the client

Use the request clarification feature it you need more information on a job. 

What if I reassigned work at the last minute?

Please explain what the problem was so we can help you. Our clients count on us to deliver the work by the specified deadline, so last-minute reassignments cause significant delays, particularly if you're this customer's preferred writer.

Sporadic reassignments are not a problem. 

However, if your account has been placed on limited access because of frequent last-minute reassignments, we encourage you to reach out via live chat so we can get your feedback and discuss strategies to help you in the future.

If you need to reassign work, please aim to do so 24 hours of claiming the job or  before the specified deadline (at the latest)

What if there were quality issues with my content?

Our Writer Success Team will notify you of the specific jobs and issues that have occurred so you understand the context and can provide your feedback. 

We encourage you to communicate with our team.

 While we may not be able to provide in-depth editing feedback, we do our best to point out how you can improve in the future. 

Proofread your work for clarity, structure, and spelling/grammatical/dialect errors before submitting it

Understand the account restrictions and limitations that may apply to your Draft account, ensuring compliance with platform policies.
