While we use AI Content Detection tools to help prevent AI generated content coming your way, unfortunately detection tools available in the market have yet to have a high rate of accuracy in detecting AI content.

Popular tools such as Originality AI, ZeroGPT, etc. will not with 100% certainty provide you with an accurate result on if the content is AI generated. Our sampling of Draft content has shown even content generated before OpenAI and other LLMs were accessible have been flagged as AI generated. 

OpenAI has also published a FAQ where they've outlined AI detection isn't possible:

In short, no. While some (including OpenAI) have released tools that purport to detect AI-generated content, none of these have proven to reliably distinguish between AI-generated and human-generated content.

Additionally, ChatGPT has no “knowledge” of what content could be AI-generated. It will sometimes make up responses to questions like “did you write this [essay]?” or “could this have been written by AI?” These responses are random and have no basis in fact.

To elaborate on our research into the shortcomings of detectors, one of our key findings was that these tools sometimes suggest that human-written content was generated by AI.


When we at OpenAI tried to train an AI-generated content detector, we found that it labeled human-written text like Shakespeare and the Declaration of Independence as AI-generated.
    

There were also indications that it could disproportionately impact students who had learned or were learning English as a second language and students whose writing was particularly formulaic or concise. 

Even if these tools could accurately identify AI-generated content (which they cannot yet), students can make small edits to evade detection.

We would ask that you work with the writer to revise the content piece if needed to help it achieve the desired expectation you're looking for and not solely focus on whether it is AI generated or not. After all, Google has come out and said useful and valuable content is what it looks for, AI generated or not.

Request a rewrite from a different writer

After adding your feedback you'll be able to select 

. As a reminder, this piece will go to an entirely new writer. The new writer will be able to view the original brief, any revision comments if provided the first time around, and the content the previous writer created.

The new piece will then follow the same workflow as the initial piece - moving from New to In Progress when the piece has been accepted by a writer.


 You can request as many rewrites as needed and rewrite requests can be made to a piece even after revisions have been requested. You would follow the same steps that have been outlined above.

What if I'm unhappy with my content piece? Can I request a rewrite?

When you receive an article from one of our writers, you should always rate the piece. 

Why? This helps us quality control our marketplace and provides the writers with helpful feedback. It also impacts who will write for you in future.

You can always request a revision free of charge.

 (e.g. narrative, (in)consistency, etc.). This helps both us and the writer improve, so we encourage you to leave feedback and rate your articles.

How do I rate my content?

When you receive an article from one of our writers, you'll be able to access them under 'Ready for Review'. First, 

click on the article you'd like to review.

If the piece is all done don't forget to hit Approve and rate your content to help quality control our marketplace and get paired with writers you like. 

Once you an article is completed by our writers, you'd be able to download them easily from your Draft dashboard.

How to download your completed job?

How can I add to my Preferred Writer team?

Have one or more writers you absolutely love and whom you want to continue working with? You can set 

and your content requests will be routed to them first.

After you request content and a writer completes it for you, you can add that writer as one of your Preferred Writers if you love their work.

On the right side of the screen, go to the 

 section and click the heart icon next to their name. When it turns red you'll know that they've been added to your team.

! They’ll now get first access to your content requests.

When they choose to work with you again, you’ll see the a box on the Job page that says that content piece was written by one of your 

To further build your relationship with your 

, remember to share feedback with them so they can further learn your style and tone.

, you can remove them by clicking on the heart icon again. When it goes from red to grey you'll know they've been removed from your team. This can be done from within the job page or by going to My Account > Preferred Writers.

 If you are on our agency dashboard a preferred writer only gets added to the team of that specific subclient. This feature allows you to customize your preferred writer teams based on the individual needs of each client.
